Koshaiev Volodymyr, representative of the WWL in the Central region of Ukraine. Private entrepreneur, financier. For more than five years, Vladimir has been the owner and top manager of a successful private furniture manufacturing company in Kyiv. Prior to the creation and commissioning of this enterprise, for more than 10 years he worked in two Ukrainian banks, which were included in the 10 largest banks of Ukraine in terms of equity capital – in the positions of a manager, first at the lowest, and then at the middle level; Top manager in one of the leading insurance companies in Ukraine. Vladimir – holds a master’s degree in finance and is a specialist in the areas of economic analysis, promotion of financial services, methodology for making optimal management decisions, high-level negotiation techniques, as well as comprehensive preparation of strategic decisions. He has experience of working in a tough competitive environment and practical skills of actions associated with a high level of personal responsibility for making collective decisions on the management of significant financial resources.
From the very first day of the full-scale war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Volodymyr personally began to collect, form and deliver food packages around Kiev as humanitarian aid to large families, single mothers with minor children, the disabled and the elderly. However, very soon, using his extensive personal connections and diverse professional experience, he scaled and expanded his volunteer activities, thanks to a significant increase in the number of like-minded people and donors of various humanitarian aid (primarily food, personal hygiene items and basic necessities). And, besides this, he added to the circle of beneficiaries the children of internally displaced persons evacuated from the places of hostilities, and also began to help organize their rehabilitation.
Vladimir is convinced that any volunteer activity should not be done for the sake of public recognition. And in it (just like in charity), you have to “come” when you are driven by an internal need for this … wife and daughter from Kharkov abroad, Sergey began to engage in volunteer activities.
