Join the team as a Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner and deliver expert, patient-centered care for adults with autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoarthritis, and vasculitis. Daily responsibilities include performing comprehensive histories and focused musculoskeletal exams, ordering and interpreting labs (ESR, CRP, RF, anti-CCP, ANA) and imaging (X‑ray, ultrasound, DEXA), formulating evidence-based treatment plans with conventional and biologic DMARDs, coordinating infusion therapies, and performing joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections (including ultrasound-guided when applicable). The Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner will monitor disease activity and medication safety with structured protocols (TB/hepatitis screening, CBC/CMP), provide proactive patient education on lifestyle, flare prevention, and adherence, manage telehealth and in-person follow-ups, complete accurate EHR documentation, e-prescribe, handle refills and prior authorizations, and collaborate closely with rheumatologists, infusion nurses, pharmacists, physical/occupational therapists, and primary care to optimize outcomes. 

What's Needed to Succeed:

  • Advanced degree from an approved Nurse Practitioner program
  • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New Hampshire or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Progressive experience in similar clinical setting 
  • Experience working with older adult patient populations highly desirable
