Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Corporate Licensing Attorney based in Los Angeles, CA, with flexibility for some remote work. The Corporate Licensing Attorney will be responsible for managing and protecting the company’s intellectual property portfolio, drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements, providing legal counsel on corporate governance, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role also includes addressing any legal disputes, providing advice on business transactions, and supporting cross-functional teams to mitigate legal risks and ensure adherence to all applicable laws and policies.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in intellectual property law, contract drafting, and negotiation
  • Knowledge of corporate governance practices and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage legal risks in business transactions and resolve legal disputes efficiently
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California
  • Experience in the entertainment or intellectual property industry is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workloads effectively
