As a business incubator and accelerator we provide access to an extensive network of partners, mentors,investors, and have the resources and expertise needed for companies to build from the ground up. Our work advances the entrepreneurial ecosystem, grows the regional economy, and is defined by the successes of those we serve.
Innovation DuPage is looking for a Web Development student intern that will assist in updating and editing content for InnovationDuPage.org, creating and editing webpage templates, and assisting in other web-related projects as necessary. You will gain a further understanding of UI & UX design, digital asset management, and marketing technology integration and optimization.
The hourly rate is $15.00 - $17.00 depending on experience. This internship role is hybrid and the on-site work location is Glen Ellyn Civic Center, 535 Duane Street Glen Ellyn, IL 60137.
Possess strong conceptual, design, and development skills, as well as a solid understanding of responsive website design and development, web/design trends, and digital technologies.
Put together disparate elements of a design created by another professional, such as the icons, photographs and other components necessary for a cohesive website design
Work with ID staff to get content created and posted in a timely fashion
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Below are the minimum requirements of the education, experience, knowledge, and skills required to competently perform in this position. High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be a current student in good standing and possess a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester.
FWS fund eligible.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
