The Opportunity

• Seeking Emergency Department Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners
• Two (2) years of Emergency Medicine experience required.
• Current national certification, ACLS, and BLS are required.
• Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
• 4 shifts available April-July 2026 with a drop to about 1 per month after July

The Practice

SSM Health St. Charles Hospital – St. Charles, Missouri

• A busy mid-size community hospital that excels at cardiovascular, sepsis, and GI Care.
• Primary Stroke Center and the only Level I Time Critical Diagnosis STEMI Center in St. Charles County.
• 250-bed facility with a 24-bed Emergency Department.
• Annual volume of 30,000 with an admit rate of 29% with 7% PEDS.
• All major sub-specialty backup excluding OB.
• Epic EMR with M-modal dictation.
• On-site ultrasound, cath lab, and interventional radiology.
