• Location: Grand Blanc, MI 48439 (Michigan healthcare jobs)\n
• Setting: Acute Inpatient Case Management\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/27/2025 – End: 1/24/2026)\n
• Shifts: 4x10 hour days (7:30am – 6:00pm), weekend rotation required\n
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week\n
• Employment Type: Travel RN (Locum Tenens)\n
• Pay Range: $46–$59 per hour\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000–$2050\n

\n\nRN Case Manager Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 5 years of acute inpatient case management experience, including acute discharge planning\n
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required\n
• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan\n
• BLS certification through AHA\n
• Experience with CarePort system\n
• Ability to quickly acclimate and provide direct patient care on the floor\n
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, organizational, and time management skills\n
• Preferred: Experience with AllScripts, GEMS/Sunrise charting; minimum 3 years RN clinical experience; knowledge of discharge planning, utilization management, performance improvement, and managed care reimbursement\n

\n\nRN Case Manager Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate precertification and payor authorization for patient care\n
• Coordinate collaborative management of patient care across the healthcare continuum\n
• Identify and remove barriers to timely, efficient care delivery and reimbursement\n
• Apply process improvement methodologies to evaluate patient care outcomes\n
• Support clinical documentation and serve as a resource for coders\n
• Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams\n
• Demonstrate clinical skills appropriate to the patient population served\n
• Plan to meet patient needs, manage length of stay, and promote efficient resource utilization\n
