Transportation Manager – Seattle, WA
What You’ll Do:
You’ll lead a transportation team responsible for keeping deliveries running safely, efficiently, and on time. This isn’t just about trucks and routes—it’s about leading people, solving problems quickly, and ensuring every customer gets what they need.

In This Role, You’ll: 
  • Lead and manage a team of about 50 Class A and B drivers within a 110-associate facility.
  • Plan and coordinate daily transportation activities to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and development, while fostering an engaged, motivated team.
  • Audit processes and identify improvements in routing, safety, and delivery execution.
  • Oversee fleet operations, including leasing, purchasing, and maintenance of tractors, trailers, and equipment.
  • Monitor and manage departmental budget performance, cost control, and productivity targets.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.
  • Communicate with senior leaders and frontline employees to keep operations transparent and aligned.

 
What You’ll Bring:
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in transportation, distribution, or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations, OSHA compliance, and fleet management.
  • Strong skills in workforce management, scheduling, and employee development.
  • Experience in unionized environments strongly preferred (not required).
  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
  • Prior commercial driving experience preferred (Class A or B).
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or business preferred, not required.

 
Pay & Benefits:
  • Pay Range (Base Pay): $75,000- $95,000

  • Retirement Benefits: 401(k)
  • Paid Time Off: You’ll accrue up to 40 hours of vacation in your first year, with time available to use after completing 12 months of continuous employment
  • Paid Holidays: 6 calendar holidays, plus 3 floating holidays per year.
  • Paid Sick Leave: 1 hour of sick for every 40 hours worked (no cap), available for use after 90 days
  • Company-provided uniforms and work shoes
