Home based is Wisconsin, project span regional and national sites with per diem and premium travel pay.

Formal Work Location

Eagle, Wisconsin. However, daily presence at the shop is not required , as you will report directly to the job site.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Temporary Skilled Craftsman to support a 60-day field project. This position is ideal for a seasoned tradesperson with advanced painting and industrial experience, looking for short-term, hands-on work.

The Craftsman will perform high-quality painting and coating work in commercial and industrial settings, following strict safety and production standards. This role requires expert technical knowledge, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

What you'll do

• Perform high-quality commercial and industrial painting and coating work in accordance with strict safety, quality and production standards
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming
• Apply paint and coatings using brush, roller, or spray equipment
• Operate and maintain tools, sprayers, and other painting equipment
• Inspect completed work for consistency, precision, and quality
• Report safety concerns immediately and uphold Painters USA's safety and health program
• Work independently or as part of a team

What you will need

• 4+ years general painting experience
• 2+ years industrial or commercial painting experience, preferred
• Strong knowledge of equipment, materials, and proper application techniques
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred) and expert-level safety awareness
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Completion of drug and alcohol screening
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 15-50lbs, repetitive bending, kneeling, ladder climbing, use of power tools and other equipment, as required
