Overview Senior Forensic Engineer - Electrical at YA Group. This is a remote role. Candidates must reside in or around the Seattle, Portland, San Francisco Bay, or Sacramento areas. Responsibilities Acts as a primary lead on projects. Coordinates with clients to set up site visits and complete deliverables. Manages project resources and sets/meets deadlines to ensure that projects stay on schedule. Produces project reports that synthesize data collected from onsite inspections, laboratory examinations, testing, research, and performance analysis to determine the most likely cause of failure and provide recommendations on repair or replacement. Performs site visits and laboratory examinations to collect data on residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Reviews and interprets relevant building codes as necessary for issues about the scope of work. If requested, oversees the development of repair or replacement design scope. Makes independent decisions for projects including selection of analysis and testing methods and allocating resources relevant to the project. Performs additional duties as assigned.
