Qualifications
EIPA score of 4.0 or higher (required)
School or pediatric experience preferred
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Sign Language Interpreter Responsibilities
Facilitate communication between students and staff during the school day
Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa
Adjust signing level and format based on student needs and comprehension
Ensure student access to classroom content, discussions, and school activities
Collaborate with educators and special education teams
Maintain student confidentiality and uphold professional standards
Follow all IEP or 504 plan guidance
