Ezeflow USA, Inc. – Flowline Division is seeking a skilled and motivated Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team in New Castle, PA. Flowline is a proud manufacturer of butt weld pipe fittings ranging from ½” to 24” in diameter servicing customers worldwide with unmatched quality, expertise, and service.

As a Saw Operator, you will play a key role in our manufacturing process by setting up and operating vertical contour band saw to cut straight and angle patterns in metal stock which may include reading work orders or blueprints to locate cutting lines and determine dimensions and tolerances as well as which type of blade, how much tension, and what cutting speed and feed rate to use.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

• Reads blueprints to determine cutting layout lines
\n
• Determine dimension and tolerances
\n
• Determine metal to cut, type of blade to be used, blade tension, cutting speed, feed rate, table angle, and positions of table stops and guides
\n
• Relieves saw blade support and drive wheel tension
\n
• Places saw blade over wheels and resets tension to change blade and adjust tension
\n
• Turns controls to set prescribed cutting speed, feed rate, and table angle
\n
• Loosens table stops, guides, and positions them to align and secure workpiece
\n
• Places stock on cutting table and clamps it into position
\n
• Starts saw and manually guides stock along layout lines to cut pattern, or engages automatic feed to cut straight line
\n
• Verifies conformance to specifications
\n
• Calculates and marks layout lines
\n

Work Schedule:

\n
• Full time, 40 hours per week, 10-hour shift, 3rd\nShift, Sunday Night- through Thursday Morning, primarily 9pm to 7am
\n
• Overtime as needed when production needs dictate overtime is required to meet customer delivery expectations
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Previous experience preferred
\n
• Ability to read, add subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
\n
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
\n
