A nonprofit organization in Queens is currently seeking a new Residential Manager to join their growing team. In this role, the Residential Manager will be responsible for performing managerial and administrative tasks to ensure that the ICF is operating according to current regulations, and that all clients are receiving risk appropriate care.

• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday
• Hours: Shifts vary day-to-day, must be flexible to work between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
• Patient Population: Developmentally Disabled Population, Adults

Responsibilities:

• Perform managerial and administrative tasks to ensure that the IRA is operating according to current regulations, and that all clients are receiving risk appropriate care
• Coordinate the activities of the shift and determine priorities as directed or required to ensure consumer safety
• Assist in supervising the functions and activities of the Direct Support Professionals
• Help plan community inclusion activities
• Ensure meals are planned for following shift and ingredients are set out
• Function independently in times of facility coverage including responsibility for appropriate action in crisis situations and medical emergencies per agency procedure
• Prepare documentation and written reports per agency requirements
• Perform other duties, as needed

Education + Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree (will consider someone without a Bachelor's Degree if they have extensive experience in field)
• Must have OPWDD experience
• Familiar with the required certification in AMAP and SCIP, CPR and First Aid
• Computer savvy
