Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Role Overview The Public Relations Director will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive PR strategy across multiple consumer brands. This role is critical in shaping the company’s external voice, managing crisis communications, and ensuring consistent storytelling across all channels and beauty brands. You will report directly to the CMO, and collaborate closely with senior leadership, brand managers, and visual merchandising teams. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the executive team and direct accountability for corporate communications. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a unified PR strategy across all brands, ensuring alignment with influencer marketing and brand storytelling Lead media relations, press outreach, and event planning to drive brand awareness and earned media value Serve as the point of contact for crisis communications, particularly in high-profile markets Collaborate with internal creative teams and external agencies to produce compelling content and campaigns Guide and mentor brand teams on PR best practices, messaging consistency, and media engagement Partner with the CMO and senior leadership to shape the company’s public narrative and reputation Manage PR budgets, reporting, and performance metrics across all brand initiatives Ideal Candidate Profile 7+ years of experience in public relations, preferably within consumer goods or lifestyle sectors Proven success in balancing influencer marketing with traditional PR strategies Strong experience in crisis communications, media relations, and event execution Excellent storytelling skills across digital, social, and traditional platforms Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high visibility Collaborative leader who can listen, adapt, and influence across departments Culture Fit The company values high energy, creative thinking, and collaborative leadership.
