Job Description

The Production Supervisor Intern directs the daily operations of a production team operating on a rotating 2-shift schedule. Responsible for leading teams in the various processes of the production of corrugated containers in a safe, cost effective manner, while ensuring that product meets all customer and company standards.

Job duties include but not limited to:

\n
• Ensure crew safety and compliance with plant rules and policies. 
\n
• Solve production issues and optimize machine efficiency. 
\n
• Engage crews in streamlining daily processes. 
\n
• Act as a key communicator between employees and management. 
\n
• Prioritize jobs, workflow, and crew assignments and production planning. 
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Pursuing degree in packaging, manufacturing, engineering or business-related field
\n
• Must be a self-starter
\n
• Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
\n
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
\n
• Demonstrated leadership skills
\n
