Job Description
Colorado Permanente Medical Group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine Sports Medicine fellowship-trained physician to join our orthopedic department. This role offers a dynamic mix of acute and routine clinical care, with a strong focus on patient-centered, evidence-based medicine.
This position requires split time between the Lone Tree Medical Office in the south Denver metro area and at the Premier Medical Office in Colorado Springs. This is a part time position at a .90 FTE Key Responsibilities - Provide care for a diverse patient population, primarily adults with some pediatric and younger patients in acute clinic settings.
- Diagnose and treat acute injuries and diseases, including fractures, infections, lacerations, and tendon/ligament injuries.
- Manage routine clinic cases, focusing on knee, shoulder, and hip problems, mostly related to overuse and degenerative conditions.
- Perform ultrasound-guided procedures, joint injections, and fracture management.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including MAs, LPNs, and assigned RNs.
- Maintain high standards of documentation using Epic-based electronic medical records.
- Participate in team-based care and contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and collegial work environment.
Schedule & Workload - 0.9 FTE with ten hour shifts (3 days one week, 4 days the next)
- No on-call duties
- 20 patients per day
Qualifications - Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
- Completion of a Sports Medicine fellowship
- Experience in acute and routine musculoskeletal care
- Proficiency in ultrasound, injections, and fracture management

- Salary range: $281,682 - $331,390 (based on experience and FTE)
