The Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, in collaboration with Dell Children s Medical Center of Central Texas (DCMCCT) is seeking qualified candidates for a one- to two-year Faculty Instructor position in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery . What You ll Do:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac surgery.
• Work collaboratively within a team-based, multidisciplinary care model.
• Participate regularly in the education and training of medical students and residents.
• Engage in program development and clinical research initiatives.

Qualifications:

• MD or equivalent from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiothoracic residency program or international equivalent.
• Meets applicable credentialing and privileging standards.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license (or has completed all steps of the USMLE prior to starting the role).
• Eligible for faculty appointment in the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery .
• A self-starter with a commitment to clinical excellence, education, and academic growth.
• Experience caring for children with complex congenital and acquired heart disease
