Responsibilities Meet with clients to understand their financial goals and guide them through the mortgage process from start to finish. Assist customers in accurately completing loan applications while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and bank policy standards. Review, assess, and document consumer loan requests to ensure they meet established lending criteria and minimize risk to the bank. Analyze financial information, underwrite applications within authorized limits, and make sound lending decisions to support both client needs and bank objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, real estate professionals, and community partners to generate ongoing business opportunities. Provide exceptional service by communicating clearly, setting expectations, and supporting clients throughout the approval and closing process. Stay current on lending products, rates, and compliance regulations to ensure accuracy and competitiveness in every transaction. Requirements Minimum 4 years of mortgage origination experience with a proven record of success. An established book of clientele and the ability to cultivate new business relationships. Active NMLS license required. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
