Records gas consumption data from residential, industrial, and commercial customers using electronic remote reading device mounted in company vehicle; reports data for Marketers to use for customer billing. Representative duties and responsibilities include:
Education and experience required: High School diploma or GED, 1-2 years meter reading experience. Preferred: ERT training, ENSCAN training or equivalent academic education and experience.
Skills required: Customer service skills, interpersonal skills, defensive driving skills, operator qualified in accordance with Company Plan.
Certifications/licenses required: Valid Driver's License, Company driving test.
AGLR Competencies: Driving for Results Business Acumen Engagement Functional Expertise.
Working conditions/physical requirements: Must be able to sit and drive for an extended period, physically able to stoop, bend, crawl, walk, climb ladders, and lift weights at a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted. Must also have keen senses of smell, hearing, vision and color identification. Ability to work in all types of terrain and weather conditions is required.
