ROLE IMPACT
The Warehouse Associate ensures accurate and safe shipment preparation by loading outbound trucks, organizing packages by shipping zones, and maintaining a clean, hazard-free workspace. This role directly supports operational efficiency and client satisfaction by upholding quality and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Load trucks with outbound customer shipments
• Build pallets and organize shipments by shipping zone
• Secure packages using strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent transit damage
• Dispose of packaging and materials to maintain a safe, clean environment
• Support special projects and adhere to company-wide quality and compliance standards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to identify hazmat and temperature-sensitive shipments
• Basic reading, writing, math, and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent, or comparable work experience
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Manual pallet jack
• Shipping and labeling tools
• Warehouse safety equipment
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Prior experience in warehousing or logistics operations
• Understanding of shipping classifications and zone routing
• Familiarity with basic inventory handling procedures
