Lineman

We are currently seeking a full-time Lineman to join our team in Akron, OH to join or construction team and support ongoing fiber installation projects.

- Pay: $28-$32/hr (depending on experience)
Schedule:
- Mon-Fri
- 7 am-5 pm
- Some weekends may be required
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of lineman experience required
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Valid CDL-A preferred
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain overhead and underground fiber lines.
- Inspect and troubleshoot fiber line issues safely and efficiently.
- Operate line trucks, tools, and equipment for construction projects.
- Assist with emergency repairs and on-call duties as needed.
- Establish and follow OSHA and customer safety requirements.
- Install new strand and lashing fiber.
- Build risers, install snowshoes, slack coils, and related hardware.
- Preform tree trimming and right-of-way maintenance as needed.
