Lead Full Stack Engineer - Spatial Intelligence Platform

Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid/Remote) | $160K-$200K + Equity | Early Stage Startup

The Role

We're looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer who will be a foundational technical leader, working directly with our CEO. You'll drive the architecture, design, and development of our web applications, APIs, and backend systems. This isn't just writing code—you'll shape our technical direction, mentor other engineers, and build systems that scale.

What You'll Do

• Architect & Build: Design and develop core features for our spatial intelligence platform
• Lead Technically: Set coding standards, establish best practices, and guide technical decisions
• Integrate AI: Work with AI models to bring intelligent features into our product stack
• Mentor: Help level up other developers through code reviews and technical guidance
• Own the Stack: Take ownership of our full technology ecosystem from sprint planning to deployment

Our Tech Stack

• Frontend: Angular (but this can change)
• Backend: Node.js , NestJS
• Database: PostgreSQL
• Cloud & DevOps: Your expertise will help shape this
• AI/ML: Custom models, fine-tuning, and integrations

What We're Looking For

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF

• You are a full-stack 0-to-1 builder who has shipped to production, wearing several hats along the way.
• You are unusually obsessed with hard problems. Your current skills or even what you've done before is less important than your ability to go all-in and accomplish anything that you set your mind to.
• You have excellent communication and candor. You’ll be communicating directly with engineers and collaborating with us on key decisions.
• You have startup mentality and you are fueled by creativity, perseverance, and grit.
• You are a JavaScript expert and you have developed Node.js to production.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 (based on experience), plus bonus
• Equity: Meaningful equity stake in an early-stage company

Work Location

• Preferred: Minneapolis area (hybrid/on-site)
• Open to: Remote for exceptional candidates in US/Canada
