We are looking for a customer-focused Host to join our team! You will be welcoming guests, seating them in the restaurant, and helping ensure they enjoy an exceptional dining experience.

Compensation: $12-$14 hourly depending on experience.

Host Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
• Providing customers with menus and answering any questions they may have.
• Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure an even workload for wait staff and all guest's seating needs are taken care of.
• Inform guests of current promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.
• Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas, and provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate.
• Assisting guests with their reservations when they arrive, as well as booking reservations for the future.
• Answering phone calls to the restaurant.
• Take to-go orders when necessary.
• Keep the host stand neat, tidy, and presentable for guests.
• Any other duties deemed necessary to the position.

Host Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant hosting experience. (required)
• Previous experience using Open Table required.
• Ability to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance.
• Ability to clearly communicate guests needs to Servers, Bussers, Managers, etc.
• Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone.
• Friendly and customer-focused personality.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
