Head & Neck Surgical Oncology Nurse Practitioner at Piedmont Healthcare summary:

The Head & Neck Surgical Oncology Nurse Practitioner provides advanced clinical care for patients with head and neck cancers, including pre- and post-operative management and hospital rounds. This role involves assisting with clinical procedures, evaluating patients in clinic, and contributing to research, teaching, and leadership within the surgical service line. The position is based at Piedmont Newnan campus, working primarily weekdays with minimal on-call duties.

Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the ENT / Head and Neck Surgery surgical service line team working at our Piedmont Newnan campus. This position is 7am – 4pm, 5 days per week, with few call responsibilities.

In this role you will:

• See patients in clinic and assist with clinical procedures
• Round on patients in the hospital
• Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients in the hospital
• Evaluate post-operative patients in clinic
• Apply specialized skills to care for patients with head and neck cancer
• Contribute to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and providing leadership to the organization

Requirements

Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
