General Production Worker

We are seeking dedicated General Production Workers to join our team. This role involves operating machinery to produce concrete stones and ensures the quality of products. Successful candidates will have basic mechanical skills and be responsible for loading materials, changing specifications on touch screens, and conducting quality control checks.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery to produce concrete stones.
• Load raw materials into machines and ensure correct specifications for block sizes.
• Conduct quality control to ensure blocks meet compliance standards.
• Perform machine cleaning at the end of the day.
• Remove material from production area.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 100 lbs.

Essential Skills:

• Basic mechanical skills.
• Experience in general labor, production, and machine operation.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and forklifts.
• Capability to work long hours in a demanding environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in construction, farming, and landscaping is beneficial.
• Proficiency in using a tape measure and operating machinery.
• Ability to perform shoveling, light maintenance, and 'housekeeping' tasks.

Work Environment:

The work environment is outdoors and semi-covered with large open doors for ventilation. Expect a dusty, dirty, and hot setting. The position requires working 12-hour shifts, 5-6 days a week, with the potential for reduced hours once fully staffed. Workers must be prepared for a physically demanding role, as the work does not get canceled for weather conditions.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, SC.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
