Job Description

Heeter is hiring for a 2nd shift (3 pm - 11 pm) Digital Press Operator to run the Digital Printing presses - Ricoh VC70000, Ricoh 9210 and Ricoh Z75 - the most technically advanced machines in the Printing Industry. The Digital Print department is a very fast-paced machine and requires candidates with a high energy level.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Set up and operate the digital press to job specifications, with a critical eye for detail and accuracy
• Follow standardized work process and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
• Effectively carry out assigned tasks throughout the shift
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Performs other duties requested by supervisor and/or management

• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Performs other duties requested by supervisor and/or management

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Mechanically inclined with previous experience running inserting machines
• Demonstrated work ethic with the ability to work quickly and efficiently managing a very fast paced machine environment
• Ability to work well in a group or individually

• Standing up to 8 hours per day
• Lift/Pull up to 35 lbs often, 50 lbs occasionally
• Manufacturing facility with constant noise from machines running
• Ability to read and distinguish small print, depth perception, color perception
• Must be able to pass a background and drug test

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 3 pm - 11 pm
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
