Position: Experienced Box Truck Driver
Location: Grand Junction, CO
Type: Full-Time
Wage: $19.00 / hour

Position Summary
The Box Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of freight across local and regional routes. This position requires strong driving experience, professionalism, and comfort navigating Colorado’s mountainous terrain—especially during winter weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck for pickup and delivery of freight
• Navigate local and regional routes, including mountain passes
• Load and unload freight as needed (using pallet jacks, liftgates, etc.)
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers
• Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
• Communicate with dispatch and customers in a professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Proven ability to drive safely in winter and mountain conditions
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe freight-handling practices
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong reliability, communication skills, and customer service mindset

Preferred Skills

• Experience with route navigation in Western Colorado
• Forklift or pallet jack experience
• Previous freight, delivery, or logistics background
