Job Description

• This role involves the teaching of Biology up to IBDP/A level and the teaching of Chemistry up to IGCSE level.
• teach students in a way that enables them to achieve high standards of learning
• contribute towards the provision of a dynamic, creative international learning environment
• actively participate in the development of the school .
• undertake long, medium and short term planning to ensure appropriate curriculum coverage according to the requirements of the respective examination board syllabi
• work as part of the team of Science teachers to organise the Science Fair and IBDP Group 4 project
• ensure that student learning in classes is monitored, appropriately assessed and that the results of such assessment are used to enhance learning
• regularly report progress of students to parents
• undertake the role of a Homeroom teacher if required
• actively participate in the range of extra-curricular activities and programmes that take place outside the regular school day
• take part in designated school events, as defined by the school calendar
• undertake any other reasonable task that school leadership deems to be appropriate
This includes but is not limited to the job functions involved with the position.
